On Tuesday I will give you an outline of what exactly will be on the test but make sure to know your idioms, literary terms, tragedy notes, and Antigone. You grade is up to date, the only points left is the final. Make sure you finish the semester strong!

Two more weeks and then the semester is over. Make sure you are earning all the possible points- there are still a lot on the line. Presentations are this week so make sure you are ready to go on your given day. There is no new vocabulary this week but there will be a review test worth 50 points (the usual amount) on Friday. The last day to turn in ANY late work is Friday!!! This is the final stretch, make it count.

Welcome back! I hope you all had a restful break and are ready to get back into the swing of school. For the next month, we will be completing a unit on Antigone. Most of the reading will be done in class, which should enable you to have free time at home to work on vocabulary and memorizing your presentations. This unit is your last chance for points so make sure you are putting in enough effort to earn the grade you want! Also, we are going to start transitioning into some of the policies Mr. Cyrus has in place to make a smooth transition at the semester break. Come to class prepared everyday and this should not be an issue.

While this is the last week before the holiday break, there are still many points on the line. Keep working hard until Friday! In honor of of the holiday spirit, if you come and secretly (no one else can know otherwise you will all lose the extra credit) challenge me to a game of rock-paper-scissors by TUESDAY during BREAK or LUNCH, you will receive extra credit. This is motivation to actually use this website as a resource to be prepared for class. Some dates to note:

• Monday your short story rough draft is due
• Wednesday your vocabulary packet is due
• Thursday the final draft of your short story is due WITH brainstorm sheet and rough draft
• By the end of class Thursday, your Antigone groups must be finalized (we will discuss Wednesday)
